Spring of 2009

It has been quite an adventure, Tom and I have travelled to Tanzania, Africa.

Had a two week rest at home, then attended our eldest son's Graduation at BYU for his Masters in Social Work.

In the next few days, I'll be attending a Women's Conference in Provo, Utah.

Now that I've figured this out one more time, I'll add more blogs on a regular basis. So please look forward to it.

Visit with Lincoln & Aden @ Marc & Brooke's

After spending 2 weeks with their family, I thought it would be a great surprise for them and other family members to see what I was up to while visiting in Utah. I hope you will enjoy those few pictures which I'm chosing to share.

30th Anniversary + 2 new Grandbabies

First of all Tom and celebrated our 30th anniversary down in Salt Lake City. I was so excited to go to the world's largest Family History Library. We were able to find more details on Tom's great-grandparents' families.

I must admit I have received quite the workout in the last month or so. I have loved every minute of it all:)

I began watching Makayla on Mondays (at Music class + MK's house for playing house with Dora and all her many friends) and for variety Tuesdays (at the Library, running errands and lastly at grandma's house).

Then two of daughters-in-law had their new babies on the very same day!! What a special day this turned out to be:) Both moms and babies are doing great!!

I have taken loads of pictures as you can all expect many are of Lincoln since I've been here for nearly a week now. He was born to Marc and Brooke in Oren, Utah, USA.

I'll catch up with Samantha's pictures when I return home after the 29th!!

Mexico with Marc and Brooke

I figures it out:) Yessssssss! I can now officially show you some of our pictures at Grand Serenis in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Our resort was 1 1/2 hr. from Cancun. It looked gorgeous with all the vegetation and wildlife sounds at night. Enjoy.

It's taken forever to upload the images!

Patrick has left for his mission.

I'll attach a few pictures of Patrick just as he left this morning. He'll be picked up at the airport by Marc and Jon and off shopping they will go:) For his mission clothes that is.

We had a great time with Newel, Nicole, Dawson and Suzie for our Christmas dinner. For the first time since we've moved to Calgary 25 years ago. We actually had extra relatives at our table other than our immediately family. It was a thrill:) Thanks for sharing our Christmas!

Pre-Christmas.

I'm so excited as of 5:00 p.m. today, I am officially done with my Christmas shopping:) A few hours of wrapping and I'll have the rest of the week to clean house. YEA!!! Seriously, Christmas is right around the corner:)
It will be different this year for Christmas, celebrating it with one of Tom's brother's family (Newel, Nicole, Susannah and Dawson). It's neat to have a sibling right here in Alberta.
